Nathaniel Pierce born March 27 1823 He studied law, was admitted to the bar, and resided in Newburyport, Massachusetts in the practice of his profession, and has
the reputation of a sound lawyer, though confining
himself mostly to office practice. He has been repeatedly mayor of his city, and
has represented it in the Legislature. He has never married.
